Magic is the only explanation that makes any sense… so far. We don’t really know why they occur or what really causes them… though there are many theories.

Pretty much. It's weird, 'cause I just got her new energy cells the other solar cycle. Still got some juice left, but not enough to leave.

Most forms of technology loose power when they enter the City. This place drains them some how.

I believe so. It turns itself on when you least want it to, transmits things that shouldn’t be seen by others, and if smashed it repairs itself… even if purposefully left behind, it will follow you. Or at least, that has been my experience with the thing.
